Illusionists provide a glittering backdrop in Now You See Me, a heist thriller which astounds with extraordinary illusions and unexpected plot twists which turnaround quickly. Just when audiences think they know where the plot is heading, mystery and intrigue accelerate leaving them is a state of bewilderment and confusion.

All is not as it seems as four talented magicians are drawn together by an obscure person. Known as the "Four Horsemen", they perform live shows on stage robbing bank s and rich corrupt businessmen, ultimately redirecting the funds to studio audiences. The public adore these Robin Hood style criminals and FBI Agent Hobbs (Ruffalo) is determined to catch them. However, the harder he tries the sillier he looks, as the four horsemen are always one step ahead. This ongoing game of cat and mouse will have audiences cheering for both parties the four horsemen are doing no evil as they're giving away the proceeds from their "crimes" so we want them to evade the law - alternately the mystery needs to be solved so we also root for the law enforcers.

The beautiful Isla Fisher, whose talents were vastly underused in The Great Gatsby, is one of the four horsemen, alongside Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson and Dave Franco. Mark Ruffalo, Michael Caine and Morgan Freeman are the balance of this wonderful cast who come together providing plenty of thrills and spills. Adversely, the plot becomes somewhat intricate towards the middle but owing to an edgy, well written script offering explanations via flashbacks, there is redemption, ensuring audiences will be marveled at what unfolds on screen.
