Director: Cyril Mennegun
Starring: Corinne Masiero, Jerome Kircher
Showing at the Australian French Film Festival in 2013, Louise Wimmer is a dull but realistic look at a lady who becomes homeless after getting divorced. Corinne Masiero puts in a great performance and you can really feel the hopelessness that she experiences. As boring as this film is, I wanted to see if Louise get's a break, but seriously you really need to be in the mood to watch this.
Louise Wimmer lives in her car, I think she just got divorced, she has a shitty cleaning job, she fucks some guy once a week who I have no idea was and she is trying to find a state home. There are few things that are left unexplained in this film but I guess it's not really that important as the main point of the film is to show what it's like to be in debt and homeless. In the end nobody wants an explanation, nobody gives a shit, you just need to get on with it and pick yourself back up. ROB
