Director: Ang Lee
Starring: Suraj Sharma, Irrfan Khan

Taken from the best selling book by Yann Martel, Ang Lee has created an instant classic with one of the most visually stunning movies filmed in 3D since Avatar. The shear beauty of the film is equally matched by the inspiring and thought provoking story, that will only begin to quench your thirst for the answers to guide you on your path to enlightenment.

Piscine Molitor (Suraj Sharma) better known as "Pi" leaves India with his family and the animals from their Zoo, that they intend to sell once they reach Canada. The ship ends up sinking and he is the only survivor along with a Zebra, Hyena, Orangutang and Bengal Tiger named Richard Parker. They all have to share the one life boat and begin to get pretty thirsty and desperate. So begins the journey to finding God.

The first part of the story shows Pi at an early age thirsty for spiritual answers. He tries out all the major religions and then his dad says why don't you give reason and science a go. We are given a choice at the end of the film. A choice that will define the type of person you are and one that might help or hinder in our journey through the darkness. Stop making sense of it all. Entertain transcendence and you will be better for it. There's a reason why π the number is infinite... 3.14159265359.
