Hollywood's fascination with comics & superheroes has begun to take itself too serious, so it was refreshing to see Kick-Ass breath some fresh air & foul language back into it.
Dave (Aaron Johnson) wants to be a superhero, he dons a green suit & hopelessly tries. He comes to the attention of Big Daddy (Nicolas Cage) & Hit Girl (Chloe Moretz), two pseudo superheroes, trying to bring down a mafia boss (Mark Strong) & his son Red Mist (Chris Mintz-Plasse)
Rude, violent & vulgar with plenty of action & heaps of laughs, & all this from an 11 year old girl...Hit Girl, who really steals the show. It's just the right combination to turn it into a cult following, seeing that kids under 15 wont be allowed to see it. It's really rude!
The music is great, the superman theme superimposed on any half-wit can make them look awesome. Nicolas Cage a huge comic fan himself impersonates Adam West to the tee, and seriously people this movie Kicks some Ass... ROBDIDO
