AKA. The Hands (Les Mains)
Director: Luc Plissonneau
Starring: Ivan Ilic, Sarah Perroud

When we give someone a helping hand in life, little do we realize we are also helping ourselves. Together we can overcome the hand of fate that led us into darkness, and with sacrifice show the world you are not alone.

Izak (Ivan Ilic) is an aspiring piano soloist embittered by a string of failures and rejections, until 16 year-old piano student, Lucie (Sarah Perroud), enters his life and brings back the confidence he had lost. Finally passing an audition, he get's the opportunity to play at a major concert, until tragedy strikes and for his grand recital debut, Izak decides to change the rules.

French director Luc Plissonneau brings us another great short film to delight our senses. Poetically through our hearts and ears as we are taken on an emotional journey of discovery and loss. A nice twist and amazing performance by Ivan Ilic will definitely leave you with a smile... ROBDIDO comment
