It was always going to be hard following the success of the first Iron Man, but the sequel deliverers as expected although it play's it safe this time around, with the brilliant cast saving the day.
Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr) is subpoenaed to hand over the keys to his suit, but refuses in style saying he's got everything under control, but Ivan Vanko (Mickey Rourke) and Justin Hammer (Sam Rockwell) have got other ideas, building up an army of droids.
The action wasn't as spectacular this time, but the actors are great. Rourke was born to play a villain, and Rockwell is becoming my favorite actor of late. There is more involvement of SHIELD, with the introduction of Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), or should I say HitGirl all grown up... LOL
The Stark Expo 2010 is a great part of the film. There's a scene with Rockwell on stage where I couldn't help but think of the similarities of Apple & Microsoft. Of course Stark is Jobs & Hammer the embarrassing Ballmer. Check it out for great links to (fake) hi-tech gadgets... ROBDIDO
