How would a deadly contagious disease change the world? Could the disease be contained & how would the population react knowing that they may be dead within 24hrs? This thought provoking & deeply engaging film is gripping right from the opening scene, where we see people in various countries falling ill & dying at a fast pace from an unknown killer disease.
Those in the know are at a loss to explain where this disease has originated. Is it biological warfare? Is it transmitted through sex? Can an antidote be created before many more millions of people die? Where fear is equally as deadly as the disease, the masses of people start to loot & engage in other criminal offenses.
A wonderful ensemble cast of actors have come together, taking us on a horrific trip of experiencing seemingly first hand, the aftermath of a simple handshake. Wonderful direction & enthralling music are used to reinforce how quickly the human touch alone brings on this disease, especially in the opening scenes. The finale will leave you shocked to find out the answer to the question on everyone's mind. Where did this disease come from?
In a time where the world is swamped with diseases, the events in this movie may one day soon become a reality. It is indirectly educational, where we learn why the ideal of washing our hands was implanted in our minds from a very early age. The outcome of watching this infectious release on DVD, is that your outlook on someone touching you, or sneezing near you will never be the same. JAKE
