The kids have grown up and never come around anymore, the wife can't do it for you anymore and your job sucks. Sounds like a mid life crisis is at hand. Most guys would just buy a red convertible and get the misses a boob job, but in John Frankenheimers's world why not get yourself a new life...Literally a second chance at life with out having to start over.

Arthur Hamilton (John Randolph) discovers an organization that can give him a new identity, dream job and his youth back. He takes up the offer (for a hefty fee & life insurance cover) and is transformed (played by Rock Hudson). He soon discovers that the swinging bachelor, that the organization thinks every man desires is not to his liking.

This twilight zone like movie is great with a good twist and lot's of social commentary on post 1950's dry martini sipping urban Americana. What if you could have had the life you dreamed of when you where a kid. Having a second chance at life is now a possibility, but you never really know what you had till it's gone...ROBDIDO
