Review and Trailer of the film Roman Holiday
I would have liked it in color film, purely for the city scenes alone, but Hepburn shines enough to color up the screen and our hearts...

Director: William Wyler
Starring: Gregory Peck, Audrey Hepburn

A romantic comedy that introduced the world to Audrey Hepburn and shot her to instant stardom playing the role of a European princess who becomes bored with her regal duties and ventures out for some fun in Rome.

Beautiful and funny you immediately fall in love with Hepburn and the city of Rome as she spends the day with Gregory Peck doing things that normal people take for granted. The Vesper ride through the streets of Rome has become a classic and inspired many generations of holiday makers. The Mouth of Truth scene is great and really shows the chemistry between them.

Joe Bradley (Peck), a journalist and Irving Radovich (Eddie Albert) his photographer try and capitalize on the situation for a scoop story on the princess who has been reported missing, but eventually fall for her charm and decide not to embarrass her. If only the paparazzi of today where so honorable towards royal families... I would have liked it in color film, purely for the city scenes alone, but Hepburn shines enough to color up the screen and our hearts... ROBDIDO comment
